1 Year Hospitality & Tourism Operations Management

Post graduate Program

Starts in September:

  • The post graduate Hospitality & Tourism Operations Management program is designed to provide a clear understanding of the underlying concepts and principles of the tourism and hospitality industry. 
  • Courses include: consumer behaviour, e-commerce, revenue management, entrepreneurship.
  • Two academic semesters, followed by an industry internship, for a combination of theory and practical skills. 

 

Internship

Valuable work experience is incorporated through the mandatory internship. 

The work placement takes place at the end of the second semester and is 32 hours per week for 8 weeks.

Based on your previous industry work experience, the internship is targeted to be at a supervisory level (without previous experience, an entry level postion my be offered).

Career Opportunities

Based on industry work experience, program courses, and your industry internship,  graduates will be qualified to seek positions in a number of sectors within the hospitality and tourism industry including: attractions, accommodation, tour operations, e-tourism distribution and marketing, food and beverage, and event planning.
